12 gallons of crab boil concentrate – help

Need Suggestions for 12 Gallons of Crab Boil Concentrate!

I mistakenly bought 12 gallons of Zatarain’s liquid shrimp and crab boil! 😬

Aside from giving it away or hosting daily crab boils for the next decade, does anyone have creative ideas on how I can use all this? Appreciate any suggestions!

  1. Wow, that’s quite a purchase! Here are some creative ways to use up your crab boil concentrate:

    1. Host a Crab Boil Party: Gather friends and family for a big seafood boil. You can cook shrimp, crab, potatoes, corn, and sausage.

    2. Gift Sets: Create gift baskets with smaller bottles or jars of the concentrate. Include some seafood recipes to go along with it.

    3. Marinate Proteins: Use the concentrate as a marinade for chicken, pork, or fish. Just be mindful not to overpower the flavor.

    4. Seasoning for Vegetables: Add some concentrate to your boiled or steamed vegetables for a flavorful twist.

    5. Seafood Dishes: Incorporate it into seafood pastas, soups, or chowders for added flavor.

    6. Flavor Broth: Use it as a base for chowder or stews, adding it to broth for seafood dishes.

    7. Canned Goods: Can or jar some of it to gift or store for future use.

    8. Creative Cocktails: Use it in small amounts to spice up drinks like Bloody Marys or seafood cocktails.

    9. Cookbooks and Blogs: Consider contributing it to local cooking classes or food blogs that might utilize it in their recipes.

    10. Community Events: Partner with local community centers or schools for fundraisers where you can provide crab boil meals.

Hopefully, these ideas help you make the most of your purchase!
