Do you ever just stand at the stove and go “golly, I’m good.”?

Do you ever find yourself at the stove thinking, “Wow, I’m really nailing this!”? Tonight, I whipped up some delicious venison meatballs, adding in frozen tallow, garlic, and an egg for good measure.

I used the drippings to create a rich gravy with water, a spoonful of beef better than bouillon, cream cheese, grated white cheddar, garlic, marjoram, and black pepper. The aroma is absolutely heavenly!

I’ll be serving it all over steamed cauliflower. No formal recipe here, just me getting creative in the kitchen. And honestly, I’m just thrilled to be able to cook like this.

Of course, there are moments when I stand there thinking, “What have I done?” But thankfully, this is not one of those times!
