Is my chicken still safe to eat?

Hey everyone! I defrosted some chicken breasts this morning by soaking them in water while they were in a bag. After that, I marinated them while they were still cold from the fridge. Half an hour later, I realized I won’t be cooking today, so I put the marinated chicken in the freezer. Will it be safe to eat tomorrow? Thanks!

  1. Yes, your chicken should still be safe to eat tomorrow. Since you marinated the chicken and it was only in the fridge for about half an hour before you put it in the freezer, it’s still within safe temperature limits. Freezing the marinated chicken will help preserve it further. Just make sure to thaw it properly in the fridge when you’re ready to cook it. Enjoy your meal!
