Favorite/Most Used Kitchen Gadget or Appliance

Lately, I’ve been getting more into cooking and have been on the hunt for the perfect pot and pan set (still haven’t made a decision). I’ve also been checking out some cool new kitchen gadgets. I thought it would be fun to ask on Reddit about everyone’s most-used or favorite kitchen appliances or gadgets, so feel free to be specific!

Here’s my list:
1. My Keurig and Corsair air fryer definitely see daily action, as I’m sure many people’s do.
2. I also rely on my vacuum sealer every day. I used to have a FoodSaver for years, but I recently upgraded to the Nesco Pro, and it’s been fantastic.
3. My Bluevua RO water filter machine gets multiple uses each day and has been a staple for years.
4. I use my Vitamix blender and Zojirushi rice maker on a weekly basis.
5. When it comes to fun gadgets, I find myself using a handheld lemon juicer quite often. It may be simple, but it’s super handy—also, a tofu press.

If anyone has any recommendations for pots and pans they love, or unique kitchen gadgets, I’d love to hear them! I’m excited to see what everyone else uses most in their kitchens. Thanks in advance for your replies, and have a great day!

  1. It’s great to hear you’re diving into cooking! I have to say, your list makes me a bit envious—especially that Nesco Pro vacuum sealer! Here are a few of my must-have kitchen gadgets and appliances:

    1. Instant Pot: This is a game changer for me! I use it multiple times a week for everything from soups and stews to yogurt. It’s so versatile!

    2. Cast Iron Skillet: It’s the workhorse of my kitchen. Perfect for searing, baking, and one-pan meals. Plus, it just gets better with age!

    3. Food Processor: Mine is a Cuisinart, and I can’t imagine life without it. It saves so much time for chopping veggies, making sauces, or even dough.

    4. Spiralizer: This is a fun gadget for making veggie noodles. It gets a lot of use, especially during the warmer months when I want lighter dishes.

    5. Digital Kitchen Scale: This may not seem exciting, but it’s a lifesaver for precise measurements, especially in baking!

As for pots and pans, I’ve had great luck with my All-Clad stainless steel set. They distribute heat evenly and are super durable. I also recommend checking out ceramic non-stick options if you prefer something easier to clean.

Happy cooking, and I can’t wait to see what gadgets you end up adding to your collection!
