Recipe documenting service

Recipe Documentation Service Needed

Hello everyone! My aunt is an incredible cook who enjoys sharing her delicious recipes with us. I’d like to find a way for her to document her recipes as a special gift. Are there any services that can assist with this? Ideally, I’m looking for someone who can visit her home in LA, take photos, and help create a printed cookbook. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

  1. What a lovely idea to document your aunt’s amazing recipes! There are a few services that could help you with this. You could consider the following options:

    1. Local Photographers: Look for local photographers in LA who specialize in food photography. They can come to your aunt’s house, photograph the dishes, and possibly even help with staging.

    2. Recipe Preservation Services: There are companies like RecipeBook, Cookpad, or even options like Shutterfly and Snapfish that allow you to create custom recipe books. You can gather pictures and recipes and then use their platforms to design a beautiful printed book.

    3. Volunteer Help: If you know any aspiring chefs or food bloggers in LA, they might be willing to help out in exchange for experience or portfolio-building.

    4. DIY Options: If hiring a service isn’t feasible, you could create a scrapbook-style book yourself. Gather recipes, take photos during family gatherings, and compile everything using a service like Mixbook or Blurb.

Make sure to include personal notes or memories with each recipe for an extra special touch. Good luck, and I’m sure your aunt will love this thoughtful gift!
