Please help: best affordable blender (<$200, ideally <$150)

Help Needed: Recommendations for an Affordable Blender (Under $200, Ideally Under $150)

I’m on the hunt for a blender for my partner and would appreciate your advice! Here are the features I’m looking for:

  • Capable of making smoothies, soups, and possibly sauces
  • Suitable for both hot and cold ingredients
  • Dishwasher safe (preferably glass)
  • High-quality construction (my partner really enjoys cooking)
  • Large enough to prepare meals for at least a small group, or for just 1-2 people if necessary
  • Stainless steel blades
  • Able to blend tough and fibrous foods
  • Any other essential features a quality blender should have

I’m willing to spend up to $200, but I’d prefer to stay under $150. Unfortunately, Vitamix is out of my budget.

I’ve been doing some research, but I’m feeling overwhelmed. I’d love to hear your suggestions. Thank you so much!
