Backyard Burger Best Seasoning

Backyard Burger Seasoning Recommendations

Hey everyone,

I’m curious about the seasoning options for burgers. I’ve seen a lot of positive feedback about Lawry’s Seasoned Salt, but I’ve never tried it myself. How does it taste on burgers? Is it enough on its own, or should I add something else? I noticed that it doesn’t include black pepper—do you think that’s essential?

I’d also love to hear if you have any other favorite store-bought burger seasonings that you recommend!

  1. Hello!

Lawry’s Seasoned Salt is definitely a popular choice for seasoning burgers! It has a nice blend of salt and spices that can enhance the flavor of the meat without overpowering it. Many people find it sufficient on its own, but if you’re a fan of black pepper, you might want to add a bit for that extra kick, as well as some garlic powder or onion powder for added depth.

If you’re looking for alternatives, there are plenty of awesome store-bought burger seasonings. You might want to check out McCormick’s Grill Mates line, especially their “Hamburger Seasoning” which includes black pepper and other spices. Another great option is the Trader Joe’s “Everything but the Burger” seasoning, which brings a unique twist with a blend of garlic, onion, and sesame flavors.

Ultimately, it comes down to personal preference, so don’t hesitate to experiment and find what you love best. Happy grilling! 🍔
