Marshmallow substitute

Looking for a marshmallow alternative! I want to whip up some rice crispy treats—could Swedish Fish be a good substitute? Any suggestions would be great!

  1. Swedish Fish would definitely give your rice crispy treats a unique twist! They won’t provide the same sticky, gooey texture as marshmallows, but you could melt them down to use as a binding agent. Just add a little bit of butter to help with melting and mixing. Keep in mind that the flavor will be quite different, but if you love Swedish Fish, it could be a fun experiment!

Alternatively, if you’re looking for a more traditional substitute, you could use gummy bears or another type of fruit-flavored candy. Be sure to chop them up into smaller pieces to help them melt and mix well. Enjoy your treat making!
