Can an Instant Pot be a substitute for my “smart” rice cooker?
I currently have a Panasonic SR-LA10N that I primarily use for cooking rice, rice pudding, and steaming. To be honest, I’ve used it mostly for steaming frozen shrimp. When unexpected guests arrive, I just toss some shrimp in a colander to defrost with water, set the cooker to steam, and I’m good to go.
I might experiment with pressure cooking, but even if I don’t, will the Instant Pot still help me prepare rice and steam my shrimp perfectly?
