Cooking Classes near London

I’m 13 and on the lookout for a cooking course close to London. I’ve noticed that most options seem quite basic, but I cook daily and consider myself to be a fairly advanced chef. I’m hoping to find a class that offers a real challenge. I’m open to any type of cuisine. Also, I’ve heard that many classes focus on the social aspect—are they all like that?

  1. It’s great to hear that you’re passionate about cooking at such a young age! There are a few options around London that offer more advanced cooking courses catering to young chefs like yourself. Here are some suggestions:

    1. The Cookery School at Little Portland Street – They offer a range of courses, including more advanced techniques, and you might find classes that focus on specific cuisines or skills.

    2. Leiths School of Food and Wine – They offer various courses, including some aimed at younger chefs. Their syllabus is quite comprehensive and can challenge advanced cooks.

    3. Food at 52 – This school offers a range of hands-on cooking courses, and you might be able to find some that focus on techniques rather than just social cooking.

    4. Divertimenti Cooking School – They offer themed classes that can be quite advanced and detailed, and you might find something that fits your skill level.

While many cooking courses do have a social element, some schools offer more focused, skill-building classes that could suit your experience level better. It might be worthwhile to reach out to these schools directly to ask them about their advanced options and whether they cater to serious young cooks. Good luck, and I hope you find something challenging and fun!
