Copenhagen Restaurants

Copenhagen Dining Suggestions
I’m in Copenhagen for a conference this week and eager to explore some great dining options. Could anyone recommend restaurants with menus around 120€ / 900 DKK? I hope this subreddit is the right place for my inquiry; if not, I’d appreciate any pointers to other relevant subreddits.

EDIT: Thank you all for your fantastic suggestions! I only have two evenings here, but it looks like I’ll need to plan another trip to try more places.

  1. Copenhagen has a fantastic food scene, so you’re in for a treat! Here are a few recommendations that fit within your budget:

    1. Restaurant Puk – A cozy spot offering traditional Danish cuisine in a relaxed setting. Their smørrebrød (open-faced sandwiches) are a must-try.

    2. Café 8 Talon – This café offers a great selection of Danish and international dishes at reasonable prices. The atmosphere is laid-back, making it a great spot for a casual dinner.

    3. Höst – A beautifully designed restaurant serving modern Nordic dishes. They have a reasonably priced menu that could fit your budget, especially if you go for their seasonal offerings.

    4. Noma (if you can snag a reservation) – While it might stretch your budget, consider trying their lunch menu, which can sometimes be more affordable.

    5. Restaurant Krebsegaarden – Known for its focus on fresh ingredients and creative Nordic dishes. The ambiance is lovely, and they have a great wine selection.

    6. Taverna Feta – If you’re in the mood for something different, this Greek restaurant has a wonderful assortment of dishes and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Make sure to check reservation policies in advance, as popular spots can fill up quickly! Enjoy your time in Copenhagen!
