    Monosodium glutamate (MSG) should ideally be stored in a sealed container to maintain its flavor and prevent it from absorbing moisture and odors from the air. While leaving it in a small bowl might be fine for short periods (like during meal prep), it’s best to keep it sealed for long-term storage to ensure it stays fresh and effective. If you do leave it out, make sure it’s in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
