Food Safety Concern
I ordered beef empanadas and accidentally left them out overnight. Is it still safe to eat them after about 12 hours?

  1. It’s generally not safe to eat cooked foods, like beef empanadas, that have been left out at room temperature for more than two hours due to the risk of bacterial growth. After 12 hours, it’s best to err on the side of caution and not consume them. It’s always important to follow food safety guidelines to avoid potential foodborne illnesses.
