Help! Yogurt recipes!

Need some recipe ideas for Greek yogurt! I picked up a 48oz container from Costco, but accidentally left it at the back of my fridge where it froze. Now that it’s thawed, it’s watery and has curds, and I really don’t want to waste it since it’s brand new. Any creative suggestions to help me use it up? Thanks in advance!

  1. No worries! Thawed Greek yogurt can still be used in a variety of delicious recipes. Here are some ideas:

    1. Smoothies: Blend the yogurt with fruits like bananas, berries, or mangoes, and add some spinach or kale for a nutritious boost. You can also include some honey or nut butter for extra flavor.

    2. Salad Dressings: Mix the yogurt with herbs, lemon juice, garlic, and a bit of olive oil for a creamy dressing. It’s great on salads or as a dip for veggies.

    3. Pancakes or Waffles: Substitute some of the milk in your pancake or waffle batter with Greek yogurt for added protein and a deliciously fluffy texture.

    4. Baking: Use the yogurt in recipes for muffins, cakes, or bread. It can replace sour cream or milk in many recipes, adding moisture and a slight tang.

    5. Savory Dishes: Incorporate the yogurt into savory dishes like tzatziki sauce (mix with cucumber, garlic, and dill), or use it as a base for creamy pasta sauces.

    6. Frozen Yogurt Bark: Spread the yogurt out on a baking sheet, top it with fruits, nuts, or chocolate chips, and freeze. Once solid, break it into pieces for a tasty snack.

    7. Overnight Oats: Stir the yogurt into your oats with some milk, chia seeds, and fruit, then let it sit overnight for a quick breakfast.

    8. Soups: Use it to add creaminess to soups like tomato or butternut squash. Just mix it in at the end to avoid curdling.

    9. Smoothie Bowls: Similar to smoothies, but thicker. Blend with fruits and then top with granola, nuts, and seeds.

    10. Dips: Combine the yogurt with spinach, artichokes, or roasted red peppers for a delicious dip for crackers or bread.

These ideas should help you use up that yogurt without any waste. Enjoy!
