How can I turn regular Italian dressing into Zesty Italian dressing?

How can I transform regular Italian dressing into Zesty Italian dressing? I’m at my mom’s house right now, and she has the standard Italian dressing, but I’m not a fan of it because it’s too sweet for my taste. I prefer the zesty version! I’m looking for some quick solutions to modify her dressing since I don’t have time to make my own from scratch.

I’m using Kraft dressing, just to give you an idea of the flavor base I’m working with and what I’m aiming for!

Thanks in advance for your help! I’m really craving a salad, and I just won’t enjoy it with regular Italian dressing, so I appreciate your suggestions! 🙂

Edit: I followed your recommendations and added a bit of minced garlic, some white wine vinegar, a splash of lemon juice, a sprinkle of red pepper flakes, and a dash of oregano. It turned out amazing! Thanks so much for your help!
