How can I boost my creativity in the kitchen?
I feel pretty confident in my cooking skills—I’ve done my fair share of baking and cooking. However, I believe that creativity is what truly sets a hobby cook apart from a home chef. I want to be able to look at a variety of ingredients and whip up something that’s not only healthy and delicious but also efficient—efficient in terms of budget, minimizing mess, making quick substitutions, avoiding frequent measurements, and saving time.
I’m inspired by budget cooking videos where people manage to eat well on just $10 a week. Their ability to create nutritious and tasty meals on a tight budget fascinates me. While they can turn out dishes like risotto or stew, I tend to stick to simpler options like boiled eggs and toast.
So, I’m curious—how can I cultivate more creativity in my cooking? I would love to hear your ideas!
