i have an ungodly amount of cheese. help please. what can i cook?

I have an overwhelming stash of cheese and I could really use some help! Here’s what I’ve got:

  • Brie
  • Spicy Cheddar with truffle infusion
  • Parmesan
  • Camembert
  • Comté

It’s a delightful mix of both soft and hard cheeses, all from cows, ranging from white to yellow.

I’ve been enjoying a cheese platter daily, which I absolutely love, but I’m starting to feel a bit bored. What can I cook with this incredible cheese variety?

Thanks so much! ❤️

  1. Wow, you have a fantastic cheese selection! Here are some delicious ideas to incorporate those cheeses into various dishes:

    1. Cheese Fondue: A classic way to enjoy a mix of cheeses. Melt together your brie, cheddar, and Comté with some white wine and garlic for a creamy fondue. Serve it with bread, vegetables, or apples for dipping.

    2. Cheesy Baked Pasta: Prepare a baked pasta dish using your cheddar (for flavor) and parmesan (for topping). Add some sautéed vegetables or cooked meat, toss everything with your favorite sauce, and bake until bubbly.

    3. Three-Cheese Risotto: Use your parmesan for a creamy risotto base, then stir in bits of brie or camembert at the end for extra creaminess and flavor.

    4. Grilled Cheese Sandwiches: Mix and match your cheeses for an indulgent grilled cheese! Add some caramelized onions or slices of apple for extra flavor.

    5. Cheese Stuffed Peppers: Mix your soft cheeses (like brie or camembert) with herbs and spices, then stuff them into bell peppers or any vegetable of your choice. Bake until the peppers are tender.

    6. Cheese Tart: Make a savory tart using a flaky pastry base and fill it with a mixture of cream, eggs, and the cheeses you have. You can add herbs, veggies, or even some cooked bacon.

    7. Cheese and Charcuterie Quesadillas: Layer your cheeses with some charcuterie (if you have it) and grill until crispy. Serve with salsa or guacamole.

    8. Cheesy Risotto Balls (Arancini): If you enjoy risottos, you can make arancini by shaping leftover risotto mixed with your hard cheeses into balls, coating them in breadcrumbs, and frying them until golden.

    9. Cheese Soufflé: For a light yet cheesy dish, consider making a cheese soufflé with parmesan and any other cheese you like.

    10. Cheese Omelette or Frittata: Add any combination of your cheeses to an omelette or a frittata, along with vegetables, for a hearty breakfast or brunch.

Feel free to mix and match these ideas based on your taste preferences and what other ingredients you have at home. Enjoy your cheesy adventures! 🧀❤️
