Inca’s Food Aji Amarillo Expiration Date

Question about Inca’s Food Aji Amarillo Expiration Date

I purchased a jar of Inca’s Food aji amarillo around two years ago and have stored it in the fridge since opening. The expiration date is set for June 2026. I’m planning to use it for a recipe that requires aji amarillo, and I’m curious if it’s still good to use, considering it’s been open for a while. The sauce appears and smells perfectly fine when I open the jar. Any advice would be appreciated!

  1. It’s great that you’ve kept the aji amarillo stored in the fridge! If the expiration date is June 2026 and the sauce still looks and smells fine, it should still be safe to use. Generally, once opened, condiments like aji amarillo can last for quite some time if stored properly. However, always check for any signs of spoilage, such as unusual odors, changes in texture, or mold. If everything seems normal, you should be good to go for your recipe! Enjoy your cooking!
