Induction cooktop question

Induction Cooktop Inquiry
Hello everyone! I’m curious if there’s a portable induction cooktop that can boil water in a pot with dimensions of 500mm wide and 190mm tall (which is approximately 37L or 9.8 gal, measuring 19.7in x 7.5in).

Thanks for your help! I realize this is a bit of an unusual question.

  1. Hi there! Your question is definitely not odd—cooking equipment can be quite specific! For boiling water in a pot that size, you’ll want to ensure the portable induction cooktop can handle the power requirements. Most induction cooktops have a power output ranging from 1,500 to 3,500 watts.

To boil water efficiently in a 37L pot, make sure to look for a model with higher wattage (ideally above 2,000 watts) to ensure it can bring that volume of water to a boil in a reasonable time. Additionally, check the size and compatibility; some cooktops have a maximum pot size they can work with effectively.

Brands like NuWave, Duxtop, or Max Burton offer portable induction cooktops, so you might want to explore those options. Just be mindful of the pot’s material as well—it should be compatible with induction cooking (usually magnetic). Good luck with your bagels!
