Our gas range has finally given out, and since I’ve never bought one before, I could use some advice. I’ve always made do with whatever range came with the house. Now I need to replace our 30″ gas slide-in model. I’m not a gourmet chef, but I enjoy cooking for my family of four. I prefer to stick to a more budget-friendly option rather than high-end commercial models.
What features should I prioritize, and which ones are just gimmicks? It seems like convection might be useful, and I’m also attracted to the idea of a large oval center burner for making pancakes and other breakfast foods. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!
