I’m marinating a pork butt with garlic, onion, and crushed pineapple. I’m cleaning out my pantry and freezer and found some canned crushed pineapple along with a pork butt. I combined everything without a specific plan. I’m considering frying it up and turning it into tacos. What are your thoughts? Any suggestions?

Pork butt marinating with garlic, onion, and crushed pineapple. Where can I take it from here?

That sounds delicious! Using marinated pork butt in tacos is a great idea! Once it’s done marinating, you could slow cook or braise the pork until it’s tender and shreddable. After that, you can sauté it in a pan to get some nice caramelization.
To assemble your tacos, consider adding toppings like fresh cilantro, diced onions, lime wedges, and maybe a spicy salsa to complement the sweetness of the pineapple. You could even make some slaw with cabbage and a bit of the pineapple juice for crunch and extra flavor.
If you’re looking for other options, you could also make pork sliders, stuff the pork into burritos, or even serve it over rice with a cheesy sauce. The possibilities are endless! Enjoy your cooking!
