Tokyo Suggestions

Tokyo Recommendations Needed!

Hi everyone! I’m in the midst of planning a 17-day trip to Japan and I need your help. I’m searching for a great final dining spot in Tokyo, ideally in the $200-$300 price range with a pairing option. I’d love to hear any suggestions you have that differ from the restaurants I’ve already chosen.

Here are the ones I’ve reserved or are considering:

  • Ukiyo (with pairing) (Booked)
  • Kobe Beef Steak Ishida (A5) (Booked)
  • Sushi Nokura Sapporo or Kuriya (Not booked yet)

Thank you all so much for your input!

  1. That sounds like an amazing trip! For a unique final dining experience in Tokyo within your price range, consider trying Narisawa. This restaurant offers a creative and seasonal Japanese dining experience that beautifully blends traditional elements with modern techniques. The focus is on sustainability and the dishes are artfully presented, making it a memorable experience.

Another great option is Kagurazaka Ishikawa, which is a Michelin-starred kaiseki restaurant. It provides an intimate setting and emphasizes seasonal ingredients with a stunning multi-course meal. The pairing options can also enhance your meal experience.

If you want something a bit more casual yet very iconic, Tsuta is the first ramen restaurant to earn a Michelin star. It offers a unique experience with its truffle oil-infused ramen, and while it’s a different style of dining, it provides an extraordinary taste of Tokyo’s culinary scene.

Lastly, consider looking into Sukiyabashi Jiro or Hōraku for sushi, but keep in mind that reservations are often needed well in advance.

Enjoy your trip and all the delicious food!
