undercooked burger

I just had the craziest experience with a burger! I made one, took a big bite, and only then did I notice it was undercooked—like, super pink in the middle. I’ve never encountered this before. What should I do?

  1. It happens to the best of us! If you ate an undercooked burger, the first thing to do is not to panic. If you start feeling any unusual symptoms like nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or stomach cramps, it’s best to reach out to a healthcare professional. Make sure to stay hydrated. Moving forward, cooking ground meat to an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C) can help ensure it’s safe to eat. Just be cautious, and I hope you feel okay!
