What nonstick pans are we using?

Which nonstick pans should I choose?

Hello, everyone! I’m on the hunt for replacements for my 10 and 12-inch All Clad nonstick pans. I’ve been using them daily for a few years, and the coating is starting to chip away. Not surprising, given how often I’ve used them!

I’m considering some options and would love your input. My mother-in-law swears by her HexClad pans, but I’ve come across some mixed reviews. I’m looking for something really durable and worth the investment. I’m willing to spend a little extra, provided the quality and convenience are there.

Has anyone tried Guy Fieri’s Laser Titanium pans? My husband thinks they’re a solid choice, thanks to all the hype on YouTube. I’ve also looked at the Always Pan by “Our Place,” which seems interesting.

I briefly owned a carbon steel pan and know they can be great, but I’m not keen on that option right now. I want to be able to whip up a quick sauce after searing without worrying about acidic ingredients damaging the pan.

Additionally, I’m hoping for something that doesn’t require a lot of effort to clean or maintain. While dishwasher-safe would be a plus, it’s not a dealbreaker; I rarely put pans in there—maybe 1-2 times every six months at most.

Any recommendations, Redditors? Thanks so much! ❤️❤️❤️

  1. Hey there! It sounds like you’re on the hunt for a reliable and durable nonstick pan, and it’s great that you’re willing to invest in quality. Here are a few options that might fit your criteria:

    1. Hexclad Cookware: Since you mentioned considering Hexclad, it’s worth noting that many users do appreciate the combination of nonstick convenience with the durability of stainless steel. It’s designed to be scratch-resistant and can handle metal utensils, which is a big plus.

    2. Scanpan: This brand is known for its high-quality nonstick pans that use a proprietary nonstick coating that’s reportedly quite durable and free from harmful chemicals. Many users find them easy to clean and great for searing as well.

    3. All-Clad HA1: If you liked your previous All-Clad pans, you might consider their HA1 line. They are designed for heavy use and provide a good nonstick surface while being dishwasher safe.

    4. Guy Fieri’s Laser Titanium Pans: These pans have certainly gained popularity due to Guy Fieri’s endorsements. Some users appreciate their durability and nonstick performance, but it might be a good idea to read a range of reviews to gauge consistency in quality.

    5. Our Place Always Pan: The Always Pan is a versatile option that has gained a lot of attention for its design and functionality. While it’s not a traditional nonstick pan, it has a non-toxic coating and is meant to be fairly easy to clean, although some users report that it may not be as durable long-term as others.

    6. T-fal Professional Total Nonstick Fry Pan: This may be a more budget-friendly option, but T-fal pans are known for their resilience and effective nonstick surface. They’re also generally very easy to clean.

In terms of care, it’s always best to avoid high heat and metal utensils to extend the life of nonstick cookware, even with more durable options. That said, it sounds like you’re looking for something low-maintenance, so hopefully one of these suggestions fits the bill! Good luck with your search! ❤️
