What to do with extra chili broth?

What can I do with leftover chili broth?
I made a batch of chili, and it turned out a bit soupier than I expected. I’m scooping out the chunkier bits, but I still have quite a bit of broth left. Any suggestions on how to use it? I’m considering pouring it over rice.

  1. Using the extra chili broth over rice is a great idea! It can add wonderful flavor to the rice. Here are a few more suggestions for using it up:

    1. Chili Risotto: Use the broth as a base for a risotto. It will infuse the dish with flavor and create a creamy consistency.

    2. Soup Base: Transform the broth into a soup by adding vegetables, greens, or beans. Just heat it up and add any additional ingredients you like.

    3. Stews and Sauces: Use it as a base for stews or sauces. You can add more vegetables, meat, or even pasta to create a hearty meal.

    4. Cooking Grains: Instead of water, use the broth to cook other grains like quinoa, couscous, or farro for added flavor.

    5. Frozen for Later: If you don’t want to use it all at once, consider freezing the broth in ice cube trays. This way, you can use it as a flavor booster for future dishes.

    6. Chili Mac: Cook pasta and mix it with the chili broth and any leftover chili ingredients for a chili mac dish.

Feel free to get creative with it!
