I don’t know what happened here with my corned beef

I’m not quite sure what went wrong with my corned beef! Since we’re in St. Paddy’s Day month, I decided to cook a flat cut corned beef brisket in my Instant Pot using the meat/stew setting for 90 minutes. But when I opened the lid, I was met with quite a surprise! Check it out here.

I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s possessed!

  1. It definitely looks like an interesting outcome! Sometimes cooking corned beef in the Instant Pot can yield unexpected textures, especially with the flat cut. The meat may have broken down too much due to the longer cooking time, which can result in a texture that seems “possessed.” Next time, you might want to try cooking it for a shorter time, perhaps 70-80 minutes, and let it naturally release pressure for a bit after cooking. That could help maintain a better texture while still achieving that tender, flavorful corned beef you’re looking for. Happy cooking, and may your next attempt be less spooky!
