Easiest meals to cook

Simple Meals for Beginners

Hey everyone, I’m a 22M and my cooking skills are pretty basic—I can only make scrambled eggs! Are there any other super easy meals that I can try? I’m really eager to learn more about cooking and would like to kick things off with some simple recipes before moving on to more complex ones. I’d also love to eventually impress my family by cooking them breakfast! Any suggestions? Thanks!

  1. Hey! It’s great that you want to learn how to cook! There are definitely some super easy meals you can try that will help you build your skills. Here are a few suggestions to get you started:

    1. Grilled Cheese Sandwich: Just butter some bread, place cheese between two slices, and grill it on a skillet until golden. It’s simple and delicious!

    2. Pasta with Olive Oil and Garlic: Boil some pasta, and while it’s cooking, sauté minced garlic in olive oil. Toss the drained pasta with the garlic oil, and add salt, pepper, and a sprinkle of parmesan if you like.

    3. Quesadillas: Just fill a tortilla with cheese (and maybe some veggies or cooked chicken), fold it, and cook it in a skillet until the cheese melts. Cut into wedges for easy eating.

    4. Stir-Fried Vegetables: Pick your favorite veggies, chop them up, and stir-fry them in a little oil with soy sauce. You can add tofu or chicken for protein if you want!

    5. Oven-Baked Chicken Breasts: Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and your favorite herbs, then bake at 375°F (190°C) for about 25-30 minutes. It’s super easy and you can pair it with any side you like!

    6. Smoothies: Blend your favorite fruits with yogurt or milk. It’s quick, nutritious, and can be a great breakfast option!

    7. Overnight Oats: Mix oats with milk or yogurt and add your favorite toppings (like fruit, nuts, or honey). Leave it in the fridge overnight, and it’s ready to eat in the morning.
