How can I clean dirt from ginger for storage?
I recently bought some Bentong ginger from my local grocery store, but it’s quite dirty. I plan to keep it on the counter alongside my onions and garlic and want to use it gradually. What’s the best way to clean the dirt off? Is it safe to wash it under water, or could that cause it to spoil? Would wiping it down with a cloth or brush be a better option? Any tips would be appreciated! Thanks!
