Tips for Adjusting the Spice Level of Chili Oil
I’ve tried several chili oil recipes and really love the straightforward approach of this one (https://thewoksoflife.com/how-to-make-chili-oil/), but I found it to be quite intense in terms of heat.
I enjoy spicy foods and can handle dishes like vindaloo and jalfrezi without any problems. I also appreciate a variety of hot sauces. However, chili oil seems to take spiciness to a whole new level.
I’m looking for advice on how to make the oil a bit milder. I’d like to gradually increase my tolerance, as I really want to enjoy this delicious flavor without feeling like my tongue is on fire! Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
