Tips for Adding Orzo to Tomato Soup?
Hello everyone,
I’m planning to whip up a tasty tomato soup for a family gathering and found a great recipe that doesn’t include orzo. However, I’m thinking of making it a bit heartier by adding orzo, but I have some concerns. I’ve heard that orzo can soak up a lot of liquid, and I’m worried it might thicken the soup too much.
Has anyone added orzo to tomato soup before? What adjustments would you suggest to prevent the soup from becoming too thick or drying out? Would increasing the liquid or adding some broth help balance things out? I’d really appreciate any tips or advice!
