AI food images and recipes are everywhere!!

AI-generated food images and recipes are taking over!
Have you noticed the surge in AI-created food images? They seem to be popping up everywhere! I’m convinced that a good portion of the images on Pinterest are now AI-generated. I’ve spotted some on Reddit as well, but users are quick to identify them, resulting in many being removed. However, some of these images have become so lifelike that even the most discerning eyes can be fooled.

To make matters worse, Amazon is now overwhelmed with cookbooks that feature AI-generated recipes and images. Honestly, it’s pretty tough to trust a recipe from an unknown source, especially if it was published in 2019 or later.

  1. I totally get where you’re coming from! The rise of AI-generated food images and recipes is pretty wild. It’s amazing how realistic some of those images can look, but it does raise questions about authenticity and reliability. With everything being so readily available online, it can be tough to discern what’s real and what’s not.

I appreciate the creativity of AI, but I also value the personal touch that comes with traditional cooking and recipe-sharing. There’s something special about recipes handed down through generations or even from home cooks who put their heart into the dishes they create.

As for cookbooks, it’s definitely a bit of a gamble when you’re sifting through options. It might be a good idea to stick to well-known authors or cookbooks that have positive reviews from people you trust. Maybe even look for comments that mention whether the recipes actually worked. It’s unfortunate that we have to be more cautious now, but it’s definitely worth it to ensure the food we make is delicious and made with care!
