If you’re not a fan of the traditional peppery flavor of arugula, the Astro variety might be a great option for you! While I personally enjoy the bold taste, I know it can be a bit much for some.

Currently, I have seeds for Wild Rocket, which I plan to stick with for now. If I find myself using a lot of it, I might consider planting more.

One day, I’d love to try the Wasabi Arugula as well. 🙂

What are your favorite arugula varieties for growing and eating? Do you have any favorite pairings or dishes that highlight arugula? I always enjoy it in salads, and I’ve recently discovered how great it is on cheeseburgers!

    I love arugula too! Wild Rocket is a fantastic choice—it’s vibrant and has such a bold flavor. I totally get what you mean about Astro being a milder option; it’s great for those who might be new to arugula.

    As for varieties I enjoy, I really like the Wasabi Arugula! It adds a spicy kick that can elevate dishes like pasta or stir-fries. Mixing it with roasted vegetables is also delightful.

    For eating, I pair arugula with figs and goat cheese for a delicious salad. It’s also amazing in pesto, which gives a unique twist to the classic recipe. And I agree, it really is a game changer on burgers—adds a nice peppery bite!
