Best and easiest grilled salmon rub. Change my mind

The Ultimate Easy Grilled Salmon Rub: Change My Mind!
I always start with high-quality end cuts from Whole Foods, typically around 1.5 to 2 inches thick. Believe me, using a flavorful cut is half the battle!

For seasoning, I do a light sprinkle of Lawry’s seasoned salt and a generous dash of Montreal steak seasoning.

Grilling Instructions:
– Preheat your grill on high for about 15 minutes, and make sure to spray the grates with avocado oil for a perfect sear.
– Place the salmon skin-side up for 5 minutes, then flip it skin-side down for an additional 2.5 minutes (and keep some baking soda nearby, just in case!).

Let it rest for 3 minutes before serving.

I can’t get enough of this recipe since it’s my absolute favorite, but I’d love to hear about your go-to salmon preparations!

  1. Your grilled salmon method sounds fantastic! I love the combination of seasonings you use, and you can’t go wrong with that high heat for a good sear.

If you’re open to trying something new, I have a lighter rub that pairs well with salmon too. A mix of brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and a touch of cayenne for some heat can create a nice balance of sweetness and spice.

I also like to add a drizzle of lemon juice just before serving for that fresh zing. Another option is a mustard and dill glaze – just brush some Dijon on the salmon before grilling and top with fresh dill after cooking.

But honestly, there’s really no wrong way to prepare salmon, especially with such great cuts from Whole Foods! Excited to hear if anyone else has their own secret rubs or marinades to share!
