I have a couple of pounds of pre-mixed elk burger and I’m looking for some creative ideas on how to use it! My family gifted me some ground elk again, and I’ve already tried a few different things. I noticed that the meat is mixed with something to help keep it moist (though I can’t remember what).
So far, I’ve enjoyed it as simple patties with minimal seasoning, but since I still have one pack in the freezer and some in the fridge, I’d love your suggestions on how to make the most of it. I’ve made burgers, which are good and all, but I’m curious about other ways to cook this unique meat since it’s not something I usually have on hand. Any r/cooking tips would be appreciated!
