I need some help! I bought this heavy cream almost two weeks ago, and after using it just three days ago, it developed a bad smell. I poured some out, and it looks normal. Is it still safe to use?

It’s generally not safe to consume heavy cream that smells bad, even if it looks fine. The smell is often an indicator that it’s gone bad, signifying bacterial growth or spoilage. If it’s been in your fridge for two weeks and started to smell after three days of use, it’s best to err on the side of caution and discard it. Food safety is important, and consuming spoiled dairy can lead to foodborne illness. Always trust your senses – if it smells off, it’s better to throw it out.
