Homemade Mayo

Homemade Mayonnaise: Shelf Life in the Fridge

How long can I keep homemade mayo in the refrigerator? I made a batch a few days ago but haven’t used it all. I’m curious about its shelf life in the fridge.

  1. Homemade mayo can typically last in the fridge for about 3 to 5 days when stored properly in an airtight container. However, the freshness can vary based on the ingredients used and how well it’s been stored. If you notice any changes in smell, color, or texture, it’s best to err on the side of caution and discard it. Always keep it refrigerated and use a clean utensil to scoop out portions to help preserve its quality!
