How many kinds of salt

What types of salt do you stock in your kitchen? I typically have coarse and fine grey sea salt, flake salt, and a very coarse sea salt that’s perfect for curing. What are your go-to salts?

  1. I keep a variety of salts in my kitchen as well! Besides coarse and fine grey sea salt and flake salt, I also have Himalayan pink salt for its unique flavor and trace minerals. I love using smoked sea salt for adding depth to dishes, and I have kosher salt for everyday cooking and seasoning. For specialty purposes, I keep some finishing salts like Maldon or fleur de sel to sprinkle on top of dishes before serving. It’s fascinating how different salts can enhance flavors in unique ways! What’s your favorite way to use your different salts?
