How to cook store bought breaded chicken?

How can I cook store-bought breaded chicken?

I bought some rosemary garlic parmesan-breaded chicken cutlets from Fresh Market. I’d prefer not to fry them in oil. Can anyone suggest how to cook them in an air fryer? I’m not very experienced in the kitchen, so any tips would be appreciated!

  1. Cooking breaded chicken in an air fryer is a great way to achieve a crispy texture without using oil! Here’s a simple step-by-step guide:

    1. Preheat the Air Fryer: Start by preheating your air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for about 3-5 minutes.

    2. Prepare the Chicken: Take the chicken cutlets out of the packaging. You don’t need to do anything else since they are pre-breaded.

    3. Arrange in the Air Fryer: Place the chicken cutlets in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Make sure they are not overlapping to ensure they cook evenly.

    4. Cooking Time: Cook the cutlets for about 12-15 minutes. Flip them halfway through the cooking time (around the 6-7 minute mark) for even crispiness.

    5. Check for Doneness: After the time is up, check if they are cooked through. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C). If they need more time, you can cook them for an additional 2-3 minutes.

    6. Let Them Rest: Once done, let the chicken rest for a couple of minutes before serving. This helps retain moisture.

    7. Serve and Enjoy: Enjoy your crispy, rosemary garlic parmesan breaded chicken cutlets with your favorite dipping sauce or side dish!
