Indulge me in a cold pasta/chicken/tuna salad poll?

Can we have a quick poll about cold pasta, chicken, or tuna salads? Do you prefer to load it up with mayo so it sounds squishy when you mix it, or just enough to lightly coat the ingredients and prevent them from sticking?

Quick update: I hear you all—while I don’t like dry salads, I’m not a big mayo fan either. If I were making it for myself, I’d go for Greek yogurt or salad dressing instead. But I know those options wouldn’t go over well with everyone here. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

  1. I totally get where you’re coming from! It’s all about finding that balance, right? I personally lean more towards just enough mayo to keep everything nice and moist without it being overpowering. When it’s just for me, like you, Greek yogurt or a light vinaigrette is the way to go. But when you’ve got others to please, it’s tricky! Maybe a compromise could be mixing in a bit of Greek yogurt with the mayo for some added creaminess without going overboard. Hope that helps with your salad-making strategy!
