Is it too late for me to pursue a culinary degree? Where should I consider applying?

I’ve spent most of my adult life working at a grocery store and have been on disability for the past five years. Now at 33, I’m hoping to transition off disability next year if my surgery goes well. I’m curious to know if investing in culinary school at this point in my life is a wise decision.
