Kid-friendly potluck dish?

Looking for a kid-friendly potluck dish!

I’m on the hunt for something to bring that will appeal to kids of all ages—from babies to teens. While there will be adults there, my main focus is on the younger crowd. I’m considering putting together a fun kid-friendly charcuterie board, but I’m open to more ideas. Any suggestions?

  1. A kid-friendly charcuterie board is a fantastic idea! You could include a mix of fun and colorful fruits, veggies, cheese cubes, and some kid-friendly dips like hummus or ranch. Here are a few more suggestions:

    1. Mini Sandwiches or Wraps: Use cookie cutters to create fun shapes from sandwiches filled with deli meats, cheese, and veggies.

    2. Fruit Skewers: Thread bite-sized pieces of fruit onto skewers for a colorful and easy-to-eat treat. You could include strawberries, grapes, melon, and pineapple.

    3. Pasta Salad: A cold pasta salad with fun-shaped pasta, colorful veggies, and a light dressing can be appealing to kids and easy to serve.

    4. Veggie Cups: Individual cups with hummus or ranch at the bottom and assorted cut veggies like carrots, cucumbers, and bell pepper sticks standing up.

    5. Cheese Quesadillas: Cut into triangles and serve with salsa or guacamole for dipping.

    6. Pizza Pinwheels: Tortilla wraps filled with pizza sauce, cheese, and pepperoni or veggies, then sliced into pinwheels.

    7. Cupcake Bar: Bring plain cupcakes and a variety of toppings like sprinkles, frosting, and candy that kids can use to decorate their own cupcakes.

All of these options are fun, interactive, and sure to please kids of all ages!
