Not-so-great beans & chili

I absolutely love black beans—they’re my favorite! They really make for an amazing chili. Unfortunately, the food bank provided me with kidney beans (dried and hard in a bag) and pinto beans, which I’m not as experienced in using for chili.

Does anyone have any delicious recipes for using kidney beans or pinto beans in chili?

Also, I think I’ve heard of something called white chili… is that real?
