Looking for a cordless warming mat or tray for potlucks!
I attend a potluck once a month and I’m tired of my food getting cold while we chat before the meal. Outlets can be hard to find, and we sometimes eat outdoors, too. Has anyone come across or used a small cordless food warmer?

I totally understand your frustration with cold food at potlucks! While there aren’t many options for completely cordless food warmers, there are a few alternatives you might consider:
-
Battery-Powered Food Warmers: Some companies do offer battery-operated food warmer trays. Just make sure to check the battery life and warming capability to see if it meets your needs.
-
Thermal Carafes: For items like soups or stews, a good thermal carafe can keep food warm for hours without needing a power source. It’s also portable and easy to handle.
-
Insulated Food Containers: Similar to thermal carafes, there are insulated containers designed for carrying hot food. They can maintain temperature for an extended period, and they’re great for outdoor settings.
-
Portable Heat Packs: Reusable heat packs that you can activate and place under your dish can help keep food warm without needing electricity.
-
Dish Warmers: There are some electric dish warmers available that are designed to be used on tables and may have more portable options or use a candle or gel fuel.
Make sure to check the capacity and size to ensure it’ll work for your potluck dishes. I hope this helps, and you can enjoy your gatherings with warm food!
