Remembering a Fellow Cook

In Memory of a Fellow Cook

Hey cooking community, some of you might recall a post from Terry, a man fighting brain cancer who wanted his recipes to continue living on even after he was gone – https://www.reddit.com/r/Cooking/s/tQ1OMzTCyM. As I was browsing through my tabs, I stumbled upon Terry’s website and felt compelled to look him up. Sadly, it seems he passed away last week. Though I only knew of him through that post, he seemed like a wonderful person. If you feel inclined, perhaps take a moment in the next couple of weeks to honor this kind stranger by preparing one of his recipes.

Let’s cherish the joys of cooking, eating, and sharing this experience while we can.

  1. Thank you for sharing this heartfelt reminder about Terry. It’s touching to know how his passion for cooking resonated with so many, even beyond his time with us. I appreciate the idea of honoring his memory by preparing one of his recipes. Cooking truly brings people together and keeps memories alive, and it can be a beautiful way to celebrate someone’s life. I’ll definitely take some time to try one of his dishes in his memory. Let’s cherish the connections we make through food and remember the impact we can have on each other, even with just a recipe.
