Looking for a Remoska alternative with more versatility!

For those who aren’t familiar, a Remoska is a countertop oven that features a heating element in the lid. When I moved in with my wife, I decided to sell my smaller Remoska because it only bakes. I wanted something more multifunctional, like a multi-cooker that can bake but also work as a rice cooker, and more. However, since it has the heating element at the bottom, my quick chicken recipe doesn’t turn out well as the water evaporates too quickly. (I’ll share the recipe in the comments.)

I’m on the hunt for a slow cooker or a versatile appliance that has a heating element on top. It would be great to have the option to set specific temperatures too, as the Remoska doesn’t allow for temperature adjustments—it’s more of a set-it-and-forget-it appliance. Any recommendations?
