Salmon Ideas
Tonight, I’m preparing salmon for my wife. She’s a huge fan of lemon garlic salmon, while I personally enjoy honey teriyaki salmon. What’s your favorite recipe? I’d love to try something different!

That sounds delicious! For a new twist, how about trying a maple soy glazed salmon? It combines sweet and savory flavors that pair beautifully with salmon. Here’s a simple recipe to give it a shot:
Maple Soy Glazed Salmon
Ingredients:
– 4 salmon fillets
– 1/4 cup soy sauce (low-sodium if you prefer)
– 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
– 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
– Juice of 1 lime
– Salt and pepper to taste
– Optional: sesame seeds and green onions for garnishInstructions:
1. Marinate the Salmon: In a bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, maple syrup, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, grated ginger, and lime juice. Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or a resealable bag, and pour the marinade over them. Let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.-
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
-
Bake the Salmon: Remove the salmon from the marinade and place it on a lined baking sheet. Season with a little salt and pepper. Bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
-
Glaze: In a small saucepan, bring the remaining marinade to a boil, then reduce to a simmer for a few minutes until it thickens slightly. Brush some of this glaze over the salmon during the last few minutes of baking for a nice finish.
-
Serve: Remove from the oven, drizzle any leftover glaze over the salmon, and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions if desired.
Enjoy your dinner! This is sure to be a hit with both of you!
