Looking for some creative non-traditional pasta sauce recipes! Not long ago, I whipped up a gnocchi dish featuring a sauce mainly made from red bell peppers, combined with heavy cream, a touch of tomato paste for thickness, and a hint of Calabrian pepper for some heat. It’s one of my all-time favorites!
However, I’ve been a bit disappointed in my search for alternative pasta sauces. Most options seem to revolve around classic tomato or Alfredo sauces, which are great but starting to feel overdone for me.
I’ve heard eggplant-based sauces can be delicious, though I’ve never tried making one. So I’m eager for new ideas!
