Why White Onions Are Superior: Change My Mind!
In my opinion, white onions reign supreme for most cooking applications, leaving red and yellow onions with only a few specific uses (excluding shallots and green onions/chives). I’m open to being convinced otherwise, especially since I’m passionate about cooking and eager to explore new flavors. While I recognize that red onions have their place in certain Asian dishes and salads, I personally struggle to find a strong justification for using them outside of those contexts.
